Welcome to northholmwood.com, the official home of the North Holmwood Sports Club. Situated at the top end of North Holmwood Village, our club is a very popular and welcoming place to spend your long summer evenings, or perhaps a lazy weekend afternoon watching one of our cricket teams? Please take a look around and find out a little bit more about us, then come visit the club, you'll be able to see where we're situated under the 'How To Find Us' tab. We are currently open from 7.30pm Monday to Friday, and all day from Noon on Saturday and Sunday.

At NHSC we always have a packed calender of social events or sporting events all year round. With our full Sky Sports package, unlimited grounds use and active social event organisers you can almost guarantee there willl be something to keep you entertained.

We have Bingo on Thursday and Monday nights, so come along and get your eyes down for a full house from 8pm. On your left you'll see a link to a list of events for the coming months along with previous month's news so you can catch up and plan ahead.

The Chairman at the BHF presentation night

Ian, aka The Chairman, was invited to attend The Heart Hero's award evening in March. On behalf of the Club he received an award in recognition of our efforts (well, his, Dan's, Steve's and Malc's actually) in raising a few thousand over the past few years.

Up against table topping Capel on Saturday, on an 'interesting' wicket, and the lads battle to a great win - read the report on the Saturday Team page. On Sunday, the lads pulled off a fine win vs Kensington with Guesty top scoring and 'Slasher' Cairnes pummelling his way to a maiden 50 - read the report on the Sunday Team page - pictures in the Gallery.

This Tuesday, 7th, evening league action from 6.15pm at Tadworth; the nearest thing to 20-20 in Dorking!!

If you speak to the girls, they think they're having a tough year, and I suppose when compared to previous years they are. BUT, new players are being given opportunities and the injury list beggars belief - Sue H elbow ligaments, Kerry broken hand, Jackie achilles, Kaz dislocated finger - all experienced players, and as at 22/6, the league record is played 8 won 4, and last Sunday they won the Surrey Ladies Tournament; so come on girls, it ain't that bad
