Sportsman of the Year

OK not titled so politically correct in todays world, but anyone involved in or with the Cricket Team are potential winners, male female young or old, probably the best award of the year, given to people who have truly made a difference to the Club.

Most Improved Under 21 Player

Great recognition for our younger members of NHCC, this award as it says on the tin is for the most improved player in the season, many a player over our history has won this before going on to becoming the main stars of our club and others at higher levels.

Most Improved Over 21 Player

A very well appreciated reward for the 'older' members of the club, it is recognition for those who continue to push themselves to improve their game regardless of their age.

Century Cup

This award is not given to everyone who scores a100 in the year this is awarded for the most important or significant acheivement of reaching those magic three numbers. Many a blistering century has not made it on to this board.

Best Bowling

Only started in 1994, this is awarded to the player of the season with a ball in his hand, sometimes bowlers do not get the recognition they deserve for their efforts throughout the year. This award recognises the most deserving bowler for his exceptional Hard Work and skill throughout the season. It really is not an easy job bowling at this level (just ask anyone of our slip cordon why).

Outstanding Performance

This is can be awarded to an individual or more than one player, it is awarded for one stand out moment of the season, often given to a player or players that appear to change the course of the season. You have to have done something really good to win this.
