NH 170 beat South Park 113

The 13th proved lucky for us NH girls as we visited South Park. It was a game we really needed to win and the girls did not disappoint.
Some thoughtful bowling and sharp fielding kept the home side down to 113 runs off the 14 overs. Janet took 4 wickets for 35 runs from her 5 overs bowled.
Jackie and Kerry took up the challenge opening the batting for NH. They both played superbly for their 67 & 53 runs scored respectively, notching up 12 boundaries between them.
They saw us past the score and elected to retire (not in the same over of course, as that's not allowed!!). Suellen went in next and continued to keep the runs ticking over, aided by Jane for 8 and Shirley not out on 5.
A great performance and welcomed victory.
